Woman’s Choice Resource Center/Necole’s Place—Located in downtown Louisville, these centers are dedicated to helping young women realize the Future and Hope God has planned for them. A portion of your Generosity Gift will be used to purchase Bibles for the women. Hands-on opportunities include sorting & organizing donations & hosting lunches for women & children. Nov 9 & 16 we’ll be collecting diapers & baby wipes for the Center.
Touched Twice Ministry–At Touched Twice, the goal is to meet a person’s most pressing physical needs, while at the same time meeting their most immediate spiritual needs. On June 12-13, 2009 the clinic will take a mission trip to Eastern Kentucky where they will hold clinics in 3 rural towns. Tamarisk Tree is a new venture in a megacity in northern China that Springdalers Tyler & Katrina S. are heavily involved with. Tamarisk Tree will provide job training and alternative employment for ladies working in the “Pink Light” area. Most of all, the “Tree” will be an illustration of Christ’s love & grace to these women. Start up needs include rent for an apartment to house the women and money to register with the government. A Springdale family has agreed to give a matching gift of $4,000 for this ministry, so part of your Generosity Gift will go to match their generous gift.
