• Current series: The King's Speech

Every king, or president for that matter, has a vision for their nation or people. In other words, they have in mind the kind of nation they want to be, which includes what they want and expect from their people. Thus, it is might be helpful for us, culturally, to think of the Sermon on the Mount as Jesus’s inaugural address for His people. For, it is in the Sermon on the Mount that Jesus outlines the nature, characteristics, behavior, ethics, and purpose of His Kingdom—of His people, namely His disciples. We invite you to join us this summer as we explore the contents of Jesus’s inaugural address and learn about the kind of Kingdom Jesus is creating and the kind of people He wants His followers to be in our series, The King’s Speech.
